Head Coach – Kimberly Dickinson (MYA Golf Director)
Kim is avid golfer and has been playing since she was 7-8 years old. She was taught to play with family and grew playing mostly with her grandparents. She competed competitively in high school in Vermont where she grew up. Kim is not native to Merrimack but is building a life here now after moving to town in 2023. She wanted to start a program to encourage her son, Sam, to have more interest in the sport and try to engage other kids in the community to learn the sport. Golf is a lifelong sport, to be enjoyed at all skill levels, from young to old. Kim hopes that she can share her passion for the sport with all of Merrimack.
Head Coach – Shaun McFadden
I have been in love with the game of golf since I was 10 years old. I grew up in Halifax, MA and played competitively in high school and at Stonehill College in Easton, MA. As I’ve gotten older my love for the game has grown to not only include playing but also learning all I can about the professional game and even golf course architecture (a true golf nerd). I’ve lived in Merrimack for 15 years with my wife Rebecca and my boys Eliot, Max, Teddy and Henry. There is so much to learn about yourself and other people while playing golf. I’m looking forward to coaching the kids of Merrimack and showing them just a little bit of what’s in store for them on the course.
Assistant Coach – Brian Harrington
Brian is relatively new to golf and is learning right along with the kids. He has played in the past, but nothing serious. He’s become a master chipper in the backyard and hopes to help everyone with those skills. He has been suckered into helping coach via the Director, but he’s making the most of the beautiful weather and time spent supporting the players and the community.
